Guided Hiking

Let Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), Kristin & Beth guide you around the stunning Valhalla Mountains. Whether your interest is wildflowers, photography, alpine strolling or bagging big peaks, this terrain has it all! An average hiking day consists of approximately eight hours on your feet with vairied amount of elevation gain and distance depending on destination.

Yoga Classes

Regardless of your yoga experience, you’ll be in good hands under Beth’s professional instruction as a RYT-500 teacher. Feel how the practice balances the physical exertion of hiking and encourages deep relaxation and mindfulness on this retreat.

Accommodation

The Valhalla Mountain Lodge is a touch of luxury, nestled deep in the Kootenay wilderness. Able to host 14 guests comfortably, our beautiful lodge has private bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor flush toilets, hot showers, a wood-fired sauna, deeply comfortable leather sofas and a gear drying room. Originally built as a one-bedroom bunkhouse more than 30 years ago, the VMT Lodge has been continually upgraded and modernized to become the mountain palace it is today.

Gourmet Catering

All meals are provided, and special dietary requirements are catered to. You’ll love the fresh ingredients and creative tastes from our kitchen among the clouds!

Booking information

Booking: To save your spot, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due. The final payment is due May 9, 2024. Payment can be made by e-transfer to revelstokeretreats@gmail.com, PayPal, or with a credit card (PayPal & CC will have a 3.5% surcharge added).

Cancellation Policy: Your deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel outside of 12 weeks prior to the trip start date your payment will be refunded minus your deposit. If you need to cancel within 6 weeks of the departure date, we will do our best (along with you) to fill your spot, in which case a refund will be given minus your deposit. If you need to cancel 4 weeks or less before the trip departure date without a replacement for your spot you will forfeit the cost of your trip.

Trip Insurance: Your vacation plan includes travel to & activities in a remote area. Revelstoke Retreats is not responsible for delays or hiking conditions that are out of our control due to bad weather, snow conditions, wildfires, guest travel delays, government restrictions, illness or illness exposure. We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance for these reasons – one option would be contacting Uniglobe Travel Insurance.

Release of liability waiver: Please carefully read the release of liability waiver before arriving for your retreat. We will have paper copies for you to sign once we are all together. You will be required to sign the waiver in order to participate in the hiking portion of this retreat.
